At the beginning of the 20th century, the director of the C. F. Peters music publishing house, Henri Hinrichsen, was one of the most influential figures in Leipzig's music industry. As a patron, he endowed, among other things, the Peters Music Library and the Henriette Goldschmidt School, and with his purchase of musical instruments he laid the foundation for the collection of today's Museum of Musical Instruments at the GRASSI.
On the occasion of the theme year TACHELES, the institutions have joined forces and created an interactive city walk in the footsteps of the publisher. In the form of collectible cards (Culturecards), digital content is conveyed alongside the fun of collecting. Today the walk is officially presented as part of a theatre performance by director Jeffrey Döring.
